Project Background

NCSOFT is one of South Korea’s leading game developers, globally recognized for its strong presence in the MMORPG genre. The company has delivered worldwide successes with flagship titles such as Lineage, Aion, and Throne and Liberty, establishing a powerful global IP portfolio and a loyal player base.

Ahead of the highly anticipated launch of AION2, NC unveiled five new titles at G-STAR. As the event’s main sponsor, the company secured the largest exhibition footprint in the B2C hall, operating an expansive 300 booth presence to amplify brand visibility and market impact.

Held annually at BEXCO in Busan, G-STAR is South Korea’s premier game exhibition and a symbolic platform representing the global competitiveness of the Korean gaming industry. The event attracts leading game companies from around the world, all aiming to engage with Korean gamers—one of the most influential player communities globally. Backed by strong government interest and industry support, G-STAR draws an average of over 200,000 visitors during its four-day run, making it a critical stage for brand positioning, new title launches, and global market signaling.

Our Solution

EIDETIC adopted a “Cinema” concept for G-STAR 2025 to unify NC’s five distinct game IPs into one organic experience. Moving beyond fragmented displays, the design weaves these titles into a cohesive brand narrative, allowing visitors to perceive NC's multiverse as a continuous journey.

The experience begins at the outdoor booth, building anticipation along the entrance path. At the main booth's center, a massive dome LED signals the entry into a virtual world, leading into an internal cinema where the five IPs are showcased through a cinematic lens. Visitors then move naturally to the demo zone for hands-on play. The impact was immediate and measurable. At peak hours, visitors waited up to 300 minutes for the opportunity to experience the game demos—clear evidence of the booth’s strong drawing power and the market’s anticipation for NC’s new lineup.

This seamless flow—from entrance to screening and play—perfectly integrates the slogan, "Infinite Worlds, One Journey," into the spatial flow. By translating strategic intent into an intuitive physical journey, the project achieves profound brand immersion.
