      How the Estimate Works

Our booth cost estimator calculates three cost components — booth rental, construction, and operation — based on EIDETIC’s hands-on project experience at shows like G-STAR, Tokyo Game Show, and AGF Korea. According to GES’s exhibitor budgeting guide, booth space rental and construction are typically the two largest cost drivers, with operation costs (staffing and logistics) adding on top.

      • Booth rental — Independent booth space pricing; early-bird discounts not included.
      • Construction — Carpentry & steel structure, flooring, graphics production, safety inspection, install/dismantle labor, and AV (sound & lighting).
      • Operation — Approx. 20% of total budget, covering staffing, logistics, and on-site management.

      FAQ

How much does it cost to exhibit at G-STAR, Tokyo Game Show, or AGF Korea?

Total exhibiting cost depends on booth size, construction level, and participation type, and generally breaks into three parts: independent booth space rental, construction (design, build, graphics, AV), and on-site operation (staffing, logistics, management). Use the calculator above for an estimate specific to your show, industry, and booth size.

How much does a small G-STAR B2C booth cost?

A 180 sqm (about 1,940 sq ft) small-scale G-STAR B2C booth costs roughly $264,706 in total — about $29,412 for booth rental, $183,824 for construction, and $51,471 for operation. This reflects EIDETIC’s project experience for a compact G-STAR B2C setup; larger or more customized builds scale up accordingly.

What’s included in the construction cost?

Construction cost covers carpentry and steel structure, flooring, graphics production, safety inspection, installation and dismantle labor, and AV (sound & lighting) for your booth build.

Does the total cost include staffing and travel?

The operation line covers on-site staffing and logistics management. It does not include staff travel, accommodation, or marketing collateral — these are common costs exhibitors under-budget for, so plan for them separately.

How accurate is this booth cost estimator compared to a real quote?

Estimates are based on EIDETIC’s hands-on project experience across the exhibitions and industries listed above. Actual costs depend on final design, materials, and site conditions, so treat the result as a planning-stage benchmark rather than a fixed quote.

Which trade shows and industries does this estimator cover?

The estimator currently covers G-STAR, Tokyo Game Show, and Anime Game Festival (AGF), with industry-based estimates available for Automotive and IT & Consumer Electronics exhibitors.

Is booth space rental or construction the bigger cost?

It depends on your booth design level. A simpler independent space keeps rental as the dominant line item, while a highly customized build (structure, graphics, AV) increases the construction share. Most exhibitors find rental and construction are the two largest costs, roughly comparable in size, with operation costs adding on top.
