Project Background
WEBZEN is a game developer with a strong fan base in Korea thanks to titles such MU and R2. In 2023, the company participated in G-Star to showcase three new releases including Terbis, Ragnador and The Eminence in Shadow. As it was Webzen’s return to G-Star in seven years, the event was highly anticipated by the company and fans alike.G-Star is the largest domestic game show held once a year at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea. It is a popular festival for gamers, with nearly 200,000 visitors coming in for the duration of the event. Known for its convergence of technology, gaming, and esports, G-STAR provides a platform for corporations and gaming enthusiasts to explore the latest advancements and engage in a vibrant celebration of the gaming industry.

Our Solution
EIDETIC led the planning and design of WEBZEN’s large-scale booth at G-Star, crafting an experience packed with engaging content such as video game demos, interactive missions, and live stage events. In collaboration with WEBZEN, the team recruited popular cosplayers to bring beloved game characters to life, outfitting them with intricately designed costumes and weapons for highly authentic portrayals. Every element of the booth was tailored to reflect fan preferences, delivering an experience aligned with what the community most desired.EIDETIC also directed the development of Webzen Friends branded merchandise, capturing the unique personalities of the IPs through thoughtful design, material quality, and comfort. The products garnered significant attention and elevated the brand’s presence on-site. Thanks to overwhelming fan enthusiasm and positive visitor feedback, the WEBZEN booth became one of the most visited destinations at G-Star.
