WEBZEN 2025 G-STAR B2C

Global Exhibition

Project Background

WEBZEN is a renowned Korean game developer celebrated for its iconic IPs, including MU and R2, which have built a loyal and passionate player base across Asia.

At G-STAR 2025, WEBZEN made a bold statement with a large-scale booth, unveiling its most anticipated upcoming titles to the Asian gaming community. Visitors were invited to experience GOG (Gate of Gates)—a title that ambitiously blends post-apocalyptic worldbuilding, anime-style military aesthetics, and defense strategy gameplay. Alongside the playable demo, WEBZEN showcased cinematic presentations for PROJECT G (working title) and Terbis, offering a glimpse into the studio's expanding universe.

A highlight of the booth was the WEBZEN Friends Market, a carnival-inspired space where fans could explore merchandise featuring WEBZEN's beloved IP characters—transforming the exhibit into a celebratory gathering for the community.

Our Solution

EIDETIC designed and activated WEBZEN's G-STAR 2025 booth built around two contrasting yet complementary worlds, creating a spatial experience that appealed to a broad spectrum of visitors.
At the heart of the booth stood the WEBZEN Friends Carnival, a carnival-themed zone anchored by a working carousel. Draped in vibrant tent fabric and lined with warm marquee lighting, the space transported visitors into the whimsical world of Terbis, serving as the booth's most magnetic photo destination and generating significant organic social content throughout the event.

In sharp contrast, the G.O.G (Gate of Gates) zone immersed visitors in a post-apocalyptic military world. Tactical props and set pieces faithfully brought the game's aesthetic to life, while an oversized sword sculpture on the exterior commanded attention across the hall as a bold landmark and high-traffic photo spot. Cosplay performers embodying G.O.G characters with exceptional accuracy further deepened fan engagement throughout the show.
