Project Background

ZEEKR is a premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Auto Group, which recently surpassed Tesla to become the second-largest automaker in China by sales. Positioned at the forefront of Geely’s global expansion, ZEEKR is one of the few Chinese automotive brands pursuing a luxury strategy across all five continents, with plans to officially enter the Korean market within the year.

As part of its innovation-driven roadmap, ZEEKR unveiled the ZEEKR 8X, a flagship SUV showcasing the brand’s next-generation electric performance, intelligent driving technology, and advanced software integration. The launch was designed to highlight ZEEKR’s premium positioning while demonstrating its technological leadership to global media, partners, and industry audiences.

Our Solution

Eidetic China delivered the project end-to-end, including creative planning, spatial design, production, stage direction, and on-site operations, crafting a refined launch experience aligned with ZEEKR’s luxury positioning.

Set against Dongqian Lake at the International Conference Center in Yinzhou District, Ningbo, the launch transformed one of the city’s most iconic landscapes into a premium automotive stage. As the sun set, lights reflected across the water while more than a dozen flagship SUVs took center stage, creating a cinematic reveal that immersed the audience in the brand’s performance-driven identity.

Interactive installations, including LED domes and sound domes, were integrated throughout the exhibition to showcase ZEEKR’s technology. A dynamic kinetic LED stage elevated the reveal, with moving LED structures opening to introduce the ZEEKR 8X. Synchronized motion, lighting, and spatial choreography delivered a powerful debut aligned with the brand’s luxury and innovation narrative.
